Last updated: June 12, 2026. This policy describes how we collect, protect, and handle data within the Rent Manager Mobile App and Web Portal.
1. Information Collection
We collect personal information necessary to manage rental portfolios, tenant identities, and billing records:
- Account Details: Full Name, Email Address, and Password Hash.
- Portfolio Data: Property names, physical addresses, unit descriptions, and rent pricing structures.
- Tenant Information: Full name, phone number, email address, lease terms, and uploaded attachments (ID Proofs/Lease Agreements).
- Payment Records: Submitted UPI transaction reference IDs, timestamps, and amounts due/paid.
2. Device Permissions
Our mobile app requests permissions to support standard management tasks. These files are kept private:
- Storage / Media: Required to upload tenant identity proofs (e.g. JPEG/PNG images) and lease agreement documents.
- Internet Access: Necessary to sync local SQLite data with our secure C# REST API server.
3. Data Protection & Sharing
Your data security is critical to us. Rent Manager does not sell, lease, or distribute your tenant portfolios or financial transactions to third-party marketing companies. All data transactions are encrypted in transit via standard TLS protocol.
